CONGRATULATIONS go out to New Orleans MMA's second cadet to be chosen as the  Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement award winner.  Cadet Dulom competed against Cadets from 59 Region 5 Marine Corps JROTC schools.  To be nominated is an honor in itself, but to be selected for this prestigious award is a true testament to Cadet Major Dulom's outstanding academic and Marine Corps JROTC record.  Cadet Major Dulom was ranked 1st in the Academy GPA wise and has been selected as both New Cadet of the Year and  the Cadet of the Year.  Captain Dulom is the Captain of the 1st team competition color guard and a member of the band and strings section.  Cadet Dulom has accumulated over 300 community service hours in his three year NOMMA career to go along with countless color guards and events all the while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.  Cadet Dulom is currently the Battalion Commander and upon graduation from New Orleans MMA, he plans on going to college to become a musician.

CONGRATULATIONS go out to New Orleans MMA's first Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement award winner.  Cadet Burns competed against Cadets from 54 Region 5 Marine Corps JROTC schools.  To be nominated is an honor in itself, but to be selected for this prestigious award is a true testament to Cadet Captain Burns' outstanding academic and Marine Corps JROTC record.  Cadet Captain Burns was ranked 1st in the Academy GPA wise and was the Cadet of the Year for the 2015-2016 school year.  Cadet Burns is the Captain of the female Soccer team, Captain of the 1st team competition color guard and a member of the band.  Cadet Burns has accumulated over 300 community service hours in her three year NOMMA career to go along with countless color guards and events all the while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.  She is currently serving on the Battalion Staff as the Executive Officer and plans to attend college upon graduation.
